In mama's embrace

I think the instant bond between a mommy and her baby is one of the most wonderful things.

Babies depend or their mamas so much, and every time I have a new born shoot I get to experience it first hand. Seeing that little itty bitty baby starring right at their mommy, and embracing their momma's body is my most favorite part to photograph in a newborn session.

Although so many moms tell me they don't want to be in the photos because they're tired, in their scrubs, and just not camera ready, I tell them that they should just give it a try. As this time of their life is so special.

This is the REAL, RAW deal. What motherhood and its sacrifice is about, and I can't help to believe that it should be captured.
